The approach
Intelbyte re-engineered the automation using Power Automate Desktop, AI Builder, and Azure Document Intelligence, integrating directly with SharePoint, Excel, and Microsoft 365.
The redesigned process automates invoice intake, enforces business rules, and updates reporting automatically. A Power BI-ready Dataverse table provides end-to-end audit transparency for every invoice the system touches.
Results
The rebuilt automation eliminated data extraction misreads across varied vendor invoice formats, lifting invoice accuracy above 97%, and cut end-to-end processing time by 80%.
Reporting now updates itself, and the audit trail is a query away instead of a reconstruction exercise.
