Shift reporting for Direct Pipe, microtunneling and HDD crossings. Inspectors record the shift on a phone, tablet or desktop. PilotPulse builds the daily report from those records: to-date totals derived from the shift data, a two-stage sign-off, and a one-click PDF in the format your owner already files.
Every shift, on recordOn a drilled crossing, the daily shift report carries real money. Standby claims, progress payments and disputes all trace back to what it says. If those numbers get challenged months later, they have to hold up against the records.
On most projects it is still a spreadsheet: photos pasted in after a 12-hour shift, to-date totals retyped from yesterday. Retyped totals stop matching the shift records, and by the time anyone checks, the gap is weeks old and both sides have signed.
With PilotPulse, inspectors enter the shift as it runs. The system calculates every cumulative figure from the underlying records, sends the finished report to the assigned reviewer for counter-signature, and produces the PDF in one click.
Drive progress plotted against the design profile, live chainage, drilling fluids and mud volumes, casing and product inventory. The report structure matches the work, not a generic construction daily log with drilling squeezed into a notes field.
Weather, drive progress, schedule, fluids, inventory, personnel, equipment, time tracking, telemetry, photos. Filled in on a phone, tablet or desktop, with controls sized for gloved hands and night shifts.
Upload the rig’s advance-log CSV. Thrust, rotary, advance rate and steering are charted on the report straight from the file, with no manual transcription.
Hours are tracked to the quarter hour. The system flags overlapping entries and unaccounted gaps before a report can be finalized, so working and standby hours match the records behind them.
The inspector finalizes and signs. The project’s assigned reviewer, set by an admin in advance, is notified by email and counter-signs. Admins can reopen a report for correction or lock it, and the full history stays with the report.
One click produces a searchable, professionally paginated PDF in the format owners and prime contractors already expect. Report numbering (job, crossing, sequence, date, shift) is generated by the system.
PilotPulse never stores a cumulative total. Every to-date figure is recalculated from the underlying shift records at the moment the report is produced. Add up the shift records behind any total and you get the same number that is on the page.
We built it this way because retyped totals are where daily reports go wrong.
Your logo and your colours on every page. PilotPulse stays in the footer.
PilotPulse runs on the Microsoft Power Platform: Entra ID sign-in, Dataverse storage, and the conditional access and tenant isolation your IT department already manages. If your organization is on Microsoft 365, there is no new vendor to security-review.

PilotPulse ships complete. It runs on your tenant and works from day one, before any customization happens.
The team that wrote PilotPulse also runs it. If your operation needs a different report layout, an extra section or your own terminology, we change the product to match.
One team owns both the product and the customization, so changes ship without a feature-request queue or a wait on someone else's roadmap.
Bring a real crossing to a 30-minute demo and we will take a shift from field capture to a signed PDF. We build and run the product ourselves, so if the baseline needs to change for your operation, the demo is where that conversation starts.
