Role Overview

Intelbyte is seeking a Junior Business Development & Sales Analyst to support our commercial team with pipeline enablement, bid/RFP execution, and market intelligence. This is a hands-on role designed for someone early in their career who wants exposure to how B2B technology services are sold, especially Microsoft Power Platform solutions. You will work closely with Sales Leads and senior team members to help generate leads, source and submit bids, gather insights on the market, and keep sales activities organized and moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Execute daily prospecting activities including cold calling, door-to-door outreach, and in-person site visits to identify and engage potential clients
  • Build and qualify a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through relentless outreach and engagement with SMB prospects
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations to uncover client pain points, technology needs, and readiness for Power Platform solutions
  • Schedule and secure meetings for senior sales team members with qualified prospects
  • Track and manage all prospecting activity in CRM to ensure proper follow-up and lead conversion
  • Attend networking events, industry meetups, and business associations to generate new contacts and build market presence

Sales Support & Pipeline Enablement

  • Prepare compelling meeting briefs including client background, business context, likely pain points, and strategic talking points to set the team up for win
  • Capture key insights during client calls and translate them into clear action items and follow-up opportunities that drive deals forward
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records with contacts, meeting notes, and pipeline activity to keep revenue-generating activities on track
  • Coordinate sales documentation, proposals, and follow-up materials to accelerate deal velocity

B2B Marketing & Outreach

  • Drive B2B marketing activities that fill the funnel. Conduct LinkedIn outreach campaigns, targeted email sequences, landing-page optimization, and sales collateral creation
  • Execute and track multi-channel campaigns using UTMs, dashboards, and CRM analytics, then report results that inform next moves
  • Build and organize high-impact sales enablement assets, including case studies, one-pagers, win stories, and capability decks that close deals

Bid & RFP Opportunity Development

  • Hunt for and qualify bid opportunities (RFPs/RFIs/RFQs) that align with Intelbyte’s services and have strong win potential
  • Own the bid tracker, manage deadlines, requirements, stakeholder contacts, and submission milestones to ensure we never miss an opportunity
  • Rally internal resources (technical leads, pricing, references) and coordinate compelling, compliant responses that position Intelbyte to win
  • Proofread, format, and polish submissions to a professional standard that reflects our brand and capabilities
  • Build a reusable content library that accelerates future bids and makes us more competitive

Competitive Intelligence

  • Research and profile target accounts, industries, competitors, and Microsoft partner ecosystems to identify where we can win
  • Stay ahead of trends in Power Platform, AI/Copilot adoption, and digital transformation buying patterns
  • Produce actionable intelligence briefs on target accounts, vertical use cases, pricing benchmarks, procurement behaviours, and competitor positioning
  • Support territory planning with prioritised target lists, stakeholder maps, and account penetration strategies

Desired Attributes

  • Hunter mentality: self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by results and the thrill of winning new business
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with the confidence to initiate conversations, handle objections, and build rapport quickly
  • Prospecting persistence: comfortable with cold outreach, rejection, and the grind it takes to land that first meeting
  • Organized and dependable with the ability to juggle multiple deals, deadlines, and outreach campaigns simultaneously
  • Quick learner who can master new tools including CRM platforms, bid portals, Microsoft 365, and sales automation tools
  • Curious and resourceful with strong research skills—you dig deep to find insights that create competitive advantage
  • Professional, trustworthy, and discreet when handling client and commercial information

Nice To Have

  • Passion for technology sales and the Microsoft ecosystem (Power Platform, M365, Dynamics, Azure)
  • Experience with B2B LinkedIn marketing, cold outreach sequences, or email automation tools
  • Exposure to bid platforms such as MERX, SAP Ariba, Bonfire, Vendor Registry, or BidNet
  • Comfort with Excel/Sheets for pipeline tracking, campaign reporting, and activity dashboards
  • Experience building sales presentations or one-pagers using PowerPoint or Canva
  • Previous internship or work experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles

Success Metrics

  • Meetings scheduled with qualified prospects for senior sales team members
  • Pipeline contribution: volume and quality of new opportunities created
  • Number and quality of bid opportunities sourced based on win probability and strategic fit
  • On-time, high-quality bid submissions that position Intelbyte competitively
  • Sales team satisfaction: faster deal velocity, better-organized pipeline, and actionable market intelligence
